На выполнение работы по английскому языку отводится два урока (не более 45 минут каждый). Работа состоит из двух частей и включает в себя 7 заданий. Обе части работы могут выполняться в один день с перерывом не менее 10 минут или в разные дни.

Задание 1 нацелено на проверку умений воспринимать на слух и понимать запрашиваемую информацию в тексте, содержащем некоторые неизученные языковые явления. В задании необходимо выбрать для каждого вопроса один ответ из трех предложенных в соответствии с прослушанным текстом.
Задание 2 проверяет умения читать про себя и понимать основное содержание текстов, содержащих отдельные неизученные языковые явления. В задании требуется установить соответствие между текстами и рубриками из предложенного списка. Каждую рубрику можно использовать только один раз. Одна рубрика лишняя.
Задание 3 проверяет умения читать про себя и понимать структурносмысловые связи в тексте. В задании требуется подобрать фрагменты фраз из предложенного списка так, чтобы они грамматически и лексически соответствовали фразе и тексту в целом. Каждому пропуску в тексте соответствует только один фрагмент. Один фрагмент в предложенном списке лишний.
Задание 4 проверяет навыки оперирования лексическими единицами в коммуникативно значимом контексте. В задании требуется подобрать слово из предложенного списка так, чтобы оно лексически соответствовало фразе и тексту в целом. Каждому пропуску в тексте соответствует только одно слово. Два слова в предложенном списке лишние.
Задание 5 проверяет навыки оперирования грамматическими формами в коммуникативно-значимом контексте. В задании требуется заполнить пропуски в связном тексте путем преобразования предложенной начальной формы слова в нужную грамматическую форму.
Задание 6 проверяет знания реалий стран изучаемого языка, а также базовые знания о социокультурном портрете и культурном наследии этих стран. Необходимо выбрать для каждого вопроса один ответ из четырех предложенных.
Задание 7 нацелено на проверку умения писать электронное письмо личного характера в ответ на письмо-стимул. В задании требуется отразить все аспекты, указанные в задании (дать полные и точные ответы на три вопроса и правильно задать два вопроса по указанной теме) с соблюдением стилевого оформления речи и норм вежливости, принятых в странах изучаемого языка.
Система оценивания
В заданиях 1–4 и 6 участник получает 1 балл за каждое правильно установленное соответствие. Максимум за успешное выполнение заданий 1–4 и 6 – 26 баллов. В задании 5 участник получает 1 балл за каждую правильно образованную форму слова. Максимум за успешное выполнение задания 5 – 6 баллов. Задание 7 оценивается с учетом правильности и полноты ответа в соответствии с критериями. Максимум за успешное выполнение задания 7 – 6 баллов.
Максимальный первичный балл за выполнение работы – 38. Полученные участником ВПР баллы за выполнение всех заданий суммируются. Суммарный балл обучающегося переводится в отметку по пятибалльной шкале с учетом рекомендуемой шкалы перевода, приведенной ниже.

A. There are some important facts one should know about climate in Russia. This country consists of several continental zones. For example, in the north winters are long and harsh, in some places there is lots of snowfall and temperatures fall below –40 degrees Celsius. These winters are normal, not only in the northern regions of the country but even in the Far East. Summers in these areas don’t even see three warm months out of the year.
B. Russia may not be the first to come to mind when you think of a food destination, but this country has plenty of delicious traditional dishes to offer. Visitors are often surprised at the variety and flavour of Russian cuisine, which is influenced by Russia’s connection to different countries in Europe, Asia, and the Middle East. The most classic Russian recipes are made of veggies and wheat, such as soups, porridges, and stuffed dough.

The main tourist routes in Russia include visits to Moscow and St. Petersburg, resort establishments in the Krasnodar and Stavropol regions, the Kaliningrad region, the ski resorts of the Caucasus and Siberia, the Golden Ring of Russia, cruises along the Volga, cruises on an icebreaker to the national park “Russian Arctic”, trips on the Trans-Siberian Railway (the Altai Mountains, Lake Baikal), travelling to the volcanoes of Kamchatka and Primorye.
D. The New Year is one of the most important holidays on the Russian calendar. New Year in Russia is a time for being together with family and friends, for gift giving, decorating the New Year tree, and watching and setting off fireworks. Midnight is, by tradition, marked by listening to the Russian Federation President’s greeting and Kremlin bells chime.
E. The Siberian Husky is a beautiful dog with a thick coat that comes in a multitude of colours and markings. Their blue or multi-coloured eyes add to the appeal of this breed, which originated in Siberia. It is easy to see why many people are enchanted by the Husky, but be aware that this athletic, intelligent dog can be independent and challenging for first-time dog owners.
